The choose of the actual(s) build(s) ?

Hi all,

I'm not a master in rip and Xvid encoding, so actualy, I've got the 23/10/02 build from Nic, without bframe, qpel and all great improvements I've seen born these days.

What can u suggest to me to choose, in all Xvid build, at this time ?


Ps : excuse me for my poor english, but i'm a froggy (frenchy) :)

Do not ask "what's best" because this question cannot be answered objectively. Each and everyone has their own view about what's best in a certain area. The best is what works best for you!

start with some stable build like koepis 4/10(I think nic doesnt have any stable build for dl)and if you feel brave and want to experiment dl koepis or nics latest unstable builds.

I prefer koepi's 04/11 dev3 build. It gives all the features, and fairly stable. Sad it cannot be downloaded anymore :)

You know, I was thinking of asking this exact same thing.

I just wanted to hear everyone's opinions on what the most stable build WITH B-frames and QPel is. I haven't tried using Xvid in a few months, and I for one would like to hear everyone's opinions (so that I can form my own :) ).
