View Full Version : *.wav error when saving a *.d2v

For some reason, the wav file that is being processed in dvd2avi while saving stops at around 410mb but there is still 4 minutes until the processing is done. The wav should be almost 3 times this size. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this? I saved it fine a few days ago but I deleted the file(s) since I wanted to re-encode the movie. Could the *.vob file be corrupt?

Maybe its a multi-PGC title and the ripper you used didn't take that into account? (What ripper did you use?)

Why not just input the vob directly into a tool like BeSweet and decode the ac3 that way?

I used Smartripper241. What I don't understand is I saved it fine a few days ago and now it's messed up. I want to get a wav file, not ac3.

I think int 21h meant you should decode the ac3 to a wav using BeSweet, which can read vobs. Or you could demux the ac3 with dvd2avi (if that works) and then decode it to wav using BeSweet (if you didn't want to figure out how to use vobs with BeSweet). Sorry but I have no idea why it did work and now won't using DVD2AVI ;), I don't use DVD2AVI to do anything with audio (I demux while ripping and then transcode to whatever using besweet).
