help please with copy protection on latest films

i mangaged to do a perfect svcd of planet of the apes can anybody tell me how to get around when playing the movie back i get little boxes coming up on the screen with running comentries and the picture goes funny little lines and then they go of again is this a new copy proctection system to let you watch the film all the way though please help thanks have they put this on the new films that are out

1. all problem posts go in dvd2svcd basic, your a new at this i can tell so dont try and start advanced topics until you've read up a bit.

2. Post your log file from dvd2svcd you can't miss it...

3. Please read around the forum as your question has been answered alot and you'll prolly find the answer by searching.

Not a new copy protection. It's the video commentary on the disc. Do a search as there is a solution posted for the PAL version.

I have not seen this is a problem for the NTSC version.

you can ripp it with smartripper. Than you see 2 films are on the cd onr is about 1min shorter that the other one, use the shorter one and than make the svcd.

DON'T use SmartRipper. Only use the included rippers.
If lex hung out here a little longer or read the Q+A then he would
know that outside rippers are known to cause issues.
