This looks like a strange comparison but if have very strange problems.
First of all if I use Sonic DVD-it Pe to author my own home movies on DVD and burn them directly from DVD-it they wil work without problems in my DVD-rom player/recorder (DVR-103) with Power-DVD but also in my Settop player (Pioneer 525).

If I copy a DVD (And do all the procedures as described, Get VTS-sectors before burnign etc.) I get the following:
Burned with Sonic, using "burn disc from a DVD-volume": The DVD will play without problems in my PC but when I put it in the Settop player It will show Search on the display and wil not play at all!
If I burn exactly the same VIDEO_TS (and Empty AUDIO_TS) directory with VOB instant write (The one that came with my DVR-103) this wil play without problems in my settop player but wil not play on the PC with power dvd (I get an error message: This DVD has been Damaged and can not be played)

I even tried to copy a ripped DVD (By someone else) that plays in both the PC and the Settop, but still my copy gets the same results.

Does anyone have an idea what I might be doing wrong?

Regards,

Eric
