@Forum,
I'm looking for a good usenet server (pay site),
which provide large binaries and fast (mp3, jpeg, mpeg, avi, etc),
I'm using usenetserver.com, it's unlimited, but their server is
not as good as I though, lots of server problems :(
Any idea ? I prefer an unlimited account (no bandwidth limit),
giganews and newsguy has the bandwidth limit :(
Thank you.

easynews speed is great; However, the bandwidth limit is there just like giganews and newsguy. Large binaries? how large is large? 20K-30K?

by no bandwith limit you mean it lets you download as fast as you can, right? Or are you talking about unmetered, where you can download as many Gigs as you want?

@wmansir,
Bandwidth limit is something like : 100Mb/day :(
I'm using usenetserver.com with 64Kbps Max with unlimited download
per day... tricky... accually it will about :
64x24x60x60 = 5529600 Kbit pe day or ~675MByte per day,
not bad, about 1CD per day ;)

easynews and giganews you can download as fast as your ISP allows you. My DSL can do 168K and I am downloading from these servers at that rate. There is no limit per day that you can download on these servers; However, you have a monthly limit of 6Gb/9.90. You have the option to extend the limit to as many gigs as you would like for additional fees :D. Eternews on the other hand is unlimited, but it has daily limits on their 5 servers (200Mb/day @9.90/mo). Easynews and giganews have about 10 days of retention on any binaries, while eternews has 2x of that.

I did 9-10GB yesterday/last night/this morning from easynews....I had to renew cuz I hit 6.7GB (6GB limit). I get about 420KB/sec from easynews from my cable modem. It's expensive though but I really needed/wanted it. I've never did newsgroups in my life until a week ago. Didn't know about xnews, smartpar, yenc, etc. but now I do.
Here's a hint. You can do a 3day or 1GB limit trial from easynews. First cc I used was visa. I hit 1.4GB and they cut me. I was like hmmm interesting. They didn't cut me at 1.0GB since I had my stuff queued. So 2nd trial I did was mastercard and I got 2.7GB from them. 3rd trial didn't work cuz I only had amex left. Don't have it set to autorenew. I squeezed out 700MB (6.7GB above) by manually renewing.

Easynews retention is around 30 days at the moment if you use the web interface.

@wing1, mrbass, & rjgn,
Thank you for your information,
I just try to subscribe the free trail but it seems my bank is not
supporting the security code (non US bank) so they reject my card. :(
