in Maestro while I am compiling, it gives me an error :
"Combined (mltiplexed) Bitrate too high - cannot exceed 10.08Mbp...ase reduce stream bitrate or number of streams to be multiplexed."
It does this after only 1 monute or so of compiling, and stops and gives me this error.
What is it and how can I get around it ??

My problem is different. I didn't encode the VOBS at all. My anime VOBs were small enough to fit on a DVD-R without reencoding, so they were taken directly. I did use pulldown however.
The video woud go fine, but when i added two short (about 5 minutes each) audio tracks to it, it started giving me this error.

did you strip the .m2v out with smartripper?
also, you say you didnt reencode, but you used pulldown... if you just extracted the stream from the vobset it would have pulldown already applied to it, applying it again would not be good.

Here's what I had to do. I had the 2 VOBS, and joined them to make one. Then I used a VOB software from here to extract the m2v. Subtitles were horribly out of synch. I used pulldown and now they work fine. Don't see where I'm going wrong....
And BTW, I CAN'T use Smartripper. There's a long explanation why but I just don't feel like typing.

good, dont use smart ripper ;)
use dvddecrypter instead.
which i would suggest next, cause the vob joining sounds a bit suspect to me

I HAVE to join them, since Maestro only imports subs for the second VOB's M2v and messes it up. Both VOBS are one movie.
