A few of questions.

1. I’m using vcd easy to author and burn my svcd’s it keeps coming up with an error message saying I should enable update scan offsets, I’ve heard this can make s/vcds stutter, What should i do?

2. I’m using tmpgenc does the dc component precision have any noticeable bearing of quality if so what should I set it to

3. In tmpgenc should I enable or disable no motion search for still picture by half a pixel.

Just my two cents:

1. Disregard the message, it doesn't matter - or demux the file and then mux it with bbMPEG and disable SVCD scan offsets, they are of no use IMHO.

2. It's said that you should use 8 bits for a low bitrate and a standard SVCD or VCD is considered low bitrate. I use 10 bits just for the heck of it, I've never seen any difference.

3. Disable it, it spoils some motion as it says in the tooltip bubble.
