nero or other tutorial

Anyone know where I can find a tutorial on how to use nero to burn data dvds etc . Or is there a better program to burn with . I want to learn what joilet is and the iso standards etc.. Thanks

The help in NERO should explain those options well enough. For data dvd's it's not really that critical what you select since it'll just be read using a DVD-ROM drive.

thanks to you both . The problem is my dvd rom wont red the data dvds only the dru500a will . I dont inderstand why that is . Ive tried + and - dvds niehter will work

Your DVD-ROM may be too old then...
Mine is...it won't even read dvd-rw's.

Thanks .I thought that might be the case also but my dvd-rom is listed in the compatability list on this site . Its suppose to be able to play +r and +rw . Maybe its just a firmware update ,which I dont know where to find or how to install .Can you help?
