I'm having a strange problem with my subtitles ripped with subrip 1.11 after compiling in maestro.
The movie Lagaan (NTSC R1) when compiled with the subtitles ripped with default cropping (8x50 I think) works well, with just a slight flicker in subtitles and a line under the bottom of subtitles.
I've tried changing the cropping size of subtitles to full frame 720x480 and all sizes between that and the default and although that gets rid of the flicker and the line, it also eliminates most of the audio track on my standalone player (Pioneer combo DVD/Laserdisc). Audio is fine in PowerDVD but picture no longer plays smoothly. The only setting that seems to not interfere with the audio is the default cropping, but that gives the line.
Has anybody else experienced this or can make any suggestions as its driving me crazy........
