Did my Pioneer AO4 just die? ....agh

I so dont need this now, if anyone can help please do this is mess.
I can no longer record with RecordNow DX which I done successfully evertime well over 60 dvds since got AO4 few week ago. When I hit red record button my drive never lights up now and few seconds later I get CD/DVD Mastering Application error. While I read report it continues to countdown like still burning but nothing is going on with drive, does not seem wasting dvdr media.

I cant find way to copy all of error report but this may be helpful or maybe not;

I CAN NOT understand what happened, I just got it 3 weeks ago max, never had this problem. Burn fine all day, did not install any thing new. I did fall asleep just hours before during burn and tray stayed out for few hours but please I can not see how that would affect anything but since then RecordNow DX 4.11 record does not happen.

I tried uninstall and reinstall no dice. Only option is lengthy hard drive format, install OS and everthing again. agh

update Disc to Disc Copy works, just not Data Disc, this is getting more bizzare. Sounds like conflict or something have no clue to fix yet, surely did not install anything new today. hrmm.

Do you have Nero or some other dvd burning software you can try?
