Not enough info what did you rip dvd with?
have you prossed the files with ifoedit?
there are many ways to skin a cat!
you can burn the VIDEO_TS folder which the files are in
you can also creat a iso image with imagetools or in ifoedit
if you creat an image you can burn with dvddecrypter(which i find the best and the simpelist)or you can burn it with most outher software!!!

i ripped out some vobs from a couple of dvds using smartripper. i then used ifoedit to make the ifo file. now im not sure what to do. do i just make a VIDEO_TS directory and move all the vobs and and ifo files into it and burn it like a data disk in primo? if i do, are there any settings i should check for?

the file you saved to in ifoedit rename it to VIDEO_TS and yes just burn it! if you are not sure burn to a dvd rw and try that first
