I always have thought that an accurate second pass needs all the information obtained in a full first pass to scale the curve. :o

Maybe it's using a kind of compressibility check (I mean a 5%-X% first pass) to scale the whole curve but this will be inaccurate. Hence It hasn't sense to do a second pass at the same time that first pass. :scared:

And the principal question that makes me think that it's impossible... if it could be possible the XviD team would have already done it :devil: :devil: :cool:


Or... maybe it isn't really a two pass mode maybe 1 pass improved or something like that....
