Hyperthreading / Pentium 4 performance

Will divx make immediate good use of the hyperthreading in new P4's coming out this month?

All I know is that this (http://www.2cpu.com/Hardware/ht_analysis/) review suggests that DivX encoding is actually SLOWER with Hyperthreading. But I'm an AMD guy, so I don't care very much what Intel comes up with :).

Took a quick peek at the review you provided, looks like a Xeon w/ HT was reviewed, which were never really well done. The new P4 3.06ghz w/ HT gives divx a 20% speed increase over the non 3.06 P4 according to a post on divx.com (http://forums.divx.com/viewtopic.php?topic=43259&forum=6)
