Hey,

Can someone tell me how to set CCE multipass VBR value? The default value is 4 and it is almost two time slower that TMPG doing the job with motion search precision = “high Quality (slow)”

Thanx.

Have you read any guides? You just go into the settings and change the pass number to whatever you want. Or you can set it to CBR if you wish.

There's also a CCE User's Guide come with the package after you've installed this program. It explains clearly how you use this software.

If you want to get a good quality instead of Multipass VBR, just use VBR using a quantizer you want and set the max and min bitrate. You don't have to wait for 4+1 passes and quality is almost the same (but you don't know the final size of video until it has finished)
