Aspect Ratio confusion

When I rip a PAl 16:9 movie I get only two options under the encoder tab:

1. 4:3 no borders, coded as 4:3
2.16:9 border added, coded as 4:3
So I have to zoom when playing on a widescreen TV with picture quality decrease as a result, and a only get to see 1 line of my subtitles.

So I do want to code (like with anamorphic DVD) in 16:9 period.
Why can't I? :confused:

Select Advanced Level in the misc. tab. But using the 16:9 tag in a SVCD usually doesn't work.

Yes many, many problems do search to read up on them.

EErr, there's no advanced tab in misc.
As for the other answer, that's way to difficult for my intellectual capacaties.

Check the picture again, where it say "DVD2SVCD level" is where U set Advanced to see the setting in question.

THX, for enlightening my stupidity. It once again taught me to look beyond the obvious!
