This is the first time for me to post a question. Yes I am new at this, but am still confused after reading tons of pages of data.
I am trying to copy a dvd to dvd. The one in question is blade2.
I have ripped the files with Smart Ripper 2.41, I did havew it select all files, then to the hard drive. Not a problem so far.
My problem comes when i am trying to use IFOEdit 0.94. I have tried 15 different ways to use the "VOB Extras", "Get VTS Vector" ands many others, with the same result. They will save nicely to 2 different directories and evne copy to the DVD, but i am left with a DVD that is not recognized by either a standalone DVD player or the computer. (I thought from the readings that these two would do the trick and rather nicely) Any help would be appreciated. Do i need to change software.

IFO edit .094 has got some bugs. I and many others experienced the same problem. Everything OK till you try to play the disc. Try using IFOedit .0932 which has never failed me so far.

I have looked and havemn't found availability of IFOEdit 0.93.
Do you or anyone know where to get a copy of that earlier version.

Thanks

No problem,
Here is the author's site http://mpucoder.kewlhair.com/derrow

Unfortunately, use can not longer get 0.932 but you can get either
.91 or .88 or .06

I've used .91 in the past with no problems. In fact I just noticed that after having .94 go bad I switched back to not .932 but to .91 and have done 3 films without error

Goldenweb,

Reading too many guides will get you confused.
I have a guide on Splitting BLADE2 so you can follow it exactly and have it done right the first time. If you are having any problems with your DVD backup, just drop me a message on which title and I'll create one for you to follow, it's that easy, so why spent million of minutes trying to read guides, guides are designed for advanced users, mine are for newbies user. Don't belive it, well, just stop by and see for yourself.

Take care everyone!!!
