I'm wondering if it is just me missing a setting or something, or does SubRip intentionally skip hyphens?

For example, "w-w-would you like some tea?" gets saved as "w w would you like some tea?"

Also, when do people are speaking at the same time (and hyphens are used):

- Blah blah blah text?
- Text text text blah!

is saved as:

Blah blah blah text?
Text text text blah!

Yea, mad props to zuggy and what he's doing and what he's accomplished!

I have to edit the subs to add the subs where two colors are used at once (SubRip only saves the first color) and to color anyway (i'm making realplayer subs) so adding in the hypens isn't all that big of a deal.

It's just strange that it will bring up the id box for every character but the hyphen... I havn't changed any settings either, so I don't think could have messed it up....

Look in your character matrix window and check all the characters where you have *nothing*, resp. spacer as caption. One of these should be the forgotten hyphen.
