Hi all ^_^

I'm doing some subs through SSA and i'm useing green and red, i know not exactly the easiest colors but, i kinda have to. Ok, the problem is its REALLY pixely.. like.. it looks bad if u dont know what i mean by pixely ^_^. Someone mentioned something about a SSA plugin for smoothing.. i dont know what it REALLY is and can't seem to find anything on it yet so, any help would be good.

Also wondering if there is a place i can get cool VDub filters that make the subs all crazy like :P all the "good" fansubbers have them, but i dont know where they get em T_T. (some are hand written, but not all of em!) ^_^

-thanx

Pure colored subtitles will not look good. It is due to limitaions of the mpeg-4 based video codecs. Try using different colors.
For putting effects and such into your subtitles you need the textsub plugin, which comes with VobSub. Please remember though, good translation, timing and editing are 10x more important than effects. So many new groups these days don't seem to understand that.

Hrmmm... your nick sounds familiar...

There's documentation on all the stuff it can do included with it; just play around with it.
