AVIs to VCD(How)

If this answer is posted somewhere, I am sorry for the posting but I am damned if I can find it.
Simply how can I convert an avi file to vcd or to dvd.

Read fabulous Doom9's guides (especially the one about dvd2svcd and format conversion guides).
You will find your answer over there.
Try searching the forum (especially the one about DVD2(S)VCD) for AVI2(S)VCD. It will also give you some nice results.

Now I really do feel inadequate........I can't find an AVI2VCD forum.

I didn't say to look for a AVI2SVCD forum, but for any topics related with AVI2SVCD in any of the DVD2SVCD forums....

I believe DVD2SVCD will do this, it will convert AVIs to VCD formats. Try looking at that software package.
