I like converting my miniDV tapes to DVD and I had a question about capture video using Adobe Premiere.
I noticed in the video settings, the flag "Recompress" is checked by default. If i uncheck this, it uses a LOT less cpu while capture DV from my camera through the firewire port.
I have no clue why "recompress" would be checked by default, any clues??? i have to uncheck it each time too, i haven't seen an easy to make it the default.
