I, can copy downloads (movies) to cd's and play them on my pioneer DVD player.
I, do it the following way.
1- I, use TMPGe
2- I, then use Nero.
3- I, can then play on my DVD as a vcd.
My question is,some movies I, download and set as above although they go through the motions when I try to play them on my pc or my dvd I, fail to get anything picture or sound. I, have tried several players but same result
The films I, have in mind at the moment are, Ghost Ship, Boat Trip.
What do I require or what am I, doing wrong?.

have you installed the right codecs? They might be divx 3,4,5 and if you don't have the right codecs installed, then TMPEG can't decode the information on the movies.

Try to download FFDSHOW from the downloads page, it play all divx streams. I hope this fixes your problems.
