Pulldown question

I have searched, but cannot find an answer to my dilemma.

First, is there a decent guide to Pulldown.exe out there?

Second.... I am following the DVD-9 to DVD-5 Full Copy guide, and everything works great except my pulldown part for Subtitle synch.

I use Subrip 1.06, and pulldown.exe .99c, get all the subs ripped, then do the pulldown like the guide says on the re-cce's mpv file.

First time I tried these two:
pulldown project.mpv output.m2v -prog_frames p
pulldown project.mpv output-drop.m2v -prog_frames p -drop_frame true

then I tried these two:
pulldown project.mpv output.m2v -prog_frames p
pulldown project.mpv output-drop.m2v -drop_frame true -prog_frames p

Both times the two output .m2v files are of the same duration in DVD maestro and my subs are out of synch by the end of the movie.

Anyone have any ideas what I am doing wrong?

Answered one of my own questions. the drop_frames tag was not added until pulldown.exe v.99d
