I need some help. All thoughts are greatly appreciated
#1. I have multiple EPs (episodes) of a TV cartoon I wish to burn to DVD-R. All EPs are stored in VCD format (video 1150kbs & audio 224kbs)
I followed the Doom guide to strip the mpg file to m1v (video stream) and mp2 (audio stream).
Video works fine but audio, of course, needs to be converted from 44.1khz to 48khz. I tried Besweet, Besweet GUI, Lame, SSRC and others in manual mode with nothing but mixed results. Here's what happens
1. The audio comes through with ALOT of clipping but is insync with video
2. the audio is fine (48khz) but is off by a variable amount (more off towards end of file)
3. I can convert to PCM audio and that sounds great and is insync but the audio is now 200+MB instead of 30MB (which means fewer EPs and no improvement in sound quality).
-- I tried converting this file to mp2 with LAME but Maestro won't take the file
Any ideas what I am doing wrong or any suggestions for proper switch settings?
Thanks
