Always test your methods on DVD-RW media until you have it mastered.

Sorry, I don't live near you, but heres my 2 cents:

I like to strip out movie-only. I don't remember details exactly, but I never had much luck with Smartripper & IFOEdit working together.

You may want to try DVDDecrypter/IFOEdit instead. I've never had a problem (I use file mode).

Thanks guys for your help. This DVDDecrypter/IFOEdit where can I get it? Is simplier than using Smartripper/ Ifoedit?

And the most important rules of all... Do not use "NERO" to burn your DVD-R's, better use PrassiDVD.

Unfortunately, it's not usually simple.

If your source is single-layer, or DVD-5, you can use this guide:
http://www.doom9.org/mpg/ifoedit-menustripping.htm

If your source is bigger, you will need to transcode your movie down to size. The best guide for that is Trilight's:
http://www.doom9.org/mpg/maestro2.htm

It's not simple and you will need to read alot. If it works out for you, send the DVD-Rs to the authors of the guides!

I have always used NERO to burn and I have never had a problem. They all work fine. Once you do it a few times the process is easy. The more you do the more you learn. If I lived out in Cali I would be happy show you.

I use DVDDecrypter, IFOEdit, CCE (if needed) Scenarist and NERO.
