So guys, my question is simple. Which one is better? And why?
I mean for transcoding AC3 to MP3.
And what for God's sake are general differences between them???
Btw., I've created more then 30 films using HeadAC3he, but I need to know

Why the **** are you using such a language when you ask your question?! You can try both and decide by yourself imo...

Oh yes...
Try to not use offensive language in your posts...
And also questions like "what's better" are very difficult to answer.
You have to try for yourself and see what suites your needs better.
Anyways - read this very old topic...

If you want to see some more topics - use the very nice SEARCH button..
take care

If it takes him over an hour of reading to ask a question that we're capable of answering with little of our own effort, I believe the proper course of action to follow is indeed to post the question.

Ok, I apologize for my offensive language, and I've edited my post ... now i think its ok. :)
Btw. I've read that post and for my opinion its very old and need update ... U know current versions of BeSweet and HeadAC3he are 1.4 and 0.23a.
And I've made a test with both of them using BeSweet GUI vO.6 b60 with DSPguru_MP3@128kbps profile for BeSweet encoding.
For now I cant find any difference in quality, and thats all I want to know - which one offers better quality. The speed winner is definitely BeSweet.
The difference in settings which I've found are following:
1. HeadAC3he uses 2 pass mode for encoding and doesnt offers by default any setting for gaining (default Global gain is 0dB and I dont touch this for now)
2. In BeSweet DSPguru_MP3@1xxkbps profiles there are three options for gaining - auto and post gain in ota() settings (-G max) and 10dB in azid
3. Also in BeSweet there is -n1 azid switch for using dialog normalization reduction and Scale input by 1 (--scale 1) switch
I dont dare to try BeSweet till now because reencoding AC3 to lower bitrates with AC3 Machine produces AC3 with awfull dynamics
:( DSPGuru says that the problem is within ac3enc.dll, and I still hardly wait for patch, because this is great advantage.
And also can I use modified dll-s provided by Darkav for encoding in BeSweet, or I should use those in BeSweet package?
