I think there is a bug when ripping the language units in menus.
With 0932 i do it right , but with this new version the vob is not corrected.

I think there is another bug in ifoedit 094. I get an error message, "Vob file is invalid! It doesn't start with a Nav-pack! Aborting operation to avoid a crash.", when attemting to strip vob ids. No problem in 0932.

Hi Derrow,
I have the exact Error Message as the others.
So the new Version and the nice new things are useless for me.
That Problem doesn't appear with any older Versions.
I use XP Professional with an AMD 2100+ Processor.
PS.: Ansonsten mal wieder Klasse Arbeit von Dir.
Weiter so :)

The new features are not useless but for now you may need to keep several versions of IFOedit available...
Some "stubborn" movies need IFOedit 0.6 to remux after rempeg.
If you want to split a disk without chapter renumbering use 0.91.
Stripping movies that don't start with VOBid 1 needs 0.932 or earlier.
I often find I have to use several IFOedit versions for some projects. Derrow is working hard at all of this, but it seems that he is chasing a lot of things right now!!!

I was ripping the Scorpion King movie and keeping only Spanish and English, when clicking Spanish it started playing it in English and with English the audio was in Spanish.
with 0.932 no problems

This is quite bizarre,
Using IFOedit .94 I tried correcting the navigation of a DVD I made from 2 movies. I had 1 movie from analog capture that was in 2 parts and needed to be stiched together. However at the point where they transition I had a minor freeze. So I used IFOedit and did a strip like in the guides but kept everything. It played back much better in both the IFOedit player & powerDVD.
But, when the disc was made it would'nt work; not in IFOedit, powerDVD or any of my standalones. A 2nd disk tested and burned at 1x (recordnowmax4) same thing. The 3rd using the original files worked everywhere. I think that thw VTS_01_0.VOB file is bad since it was the only one that refused to load in powerDVD separately and on my Apex I actually saw the film try to start before the error.
Never had a film played in powerDVD not played from disk.
Very weird and I can't seem to figure out why. Any ideas anyone?

Another BUG ...
When using the AUTHORING feature with more than 1 audio, process crash almost from the begining. Only 2-4 % of files are authored...

I also get the following error message with IFedit 0.940 when trying to strip VOB ID's:
"VOB file is unvalid. It doesn't start with Nav-pack! Aborting operation to aviod crash"
I can strip VOB ID's fine with IFOedit 0.932

The size of the VOB after striping part of it or demuxing is a little bit bigger that 1.0GB, so remember that for standAlone players and for some DVDSoftware the VOD is invalid.
I thing that is another consideration to take care on the next release.

Only software players and burning software would be affected by the vob file size. Once burned to the disk the entire folder becomes one huge file to a standalone. This is also why burning software can really screw up a good encoding, by not laying out the files as per the pointers within video_ts.ifo

I, too, have experiemced the problem with ver .94 giving me the error about a vob file being unvalid because it doesn't start with a nav-pack.
It's happened any time I try to strip vob ID 1. I can strip vob ID 2 or any others with no problem.

How do you strip VobID 1?
With IfoEdit, or earlier when ripping the DVD ?

I strip the VOBID's with IFOedit.
This is what I do:
-Rip full DVD with DVD decryptor
-Open ripped files with IFOedit
-Attempt to strip VOBID's
-error message

Thank you Dre !
Short and precise report. :)
Right what I needed. Found the bug.
It's really a stupid bug. Will be fixed though in next release.

I strip VOB ID 1 after remuxing with IFOEdit.6 , it doesn't offer an opportunity to do it at the same time as remuxing and stripping streams.
I have yet to successfully remux a movie with any version except .6.
.932 will go through the motions but the result is lots of stuttering video or freeze frames, usually just before a scene change, but also at other times.

May I suggest using 0.932 (Or latest 0.95 beta) to strip and create the .cffl file run rempeg (Or whatever) then remux only with .6
Works like a charm for me.
