I'm getting this error in virtualdub:
"The Procedure entry point point ?textsubconfigure@@YA_NPAUtextsubfilterdata@@@Z could not be found in he dynamic link library vobsub.dll"
In TMPEG I'm gettin this error:
"The prodecure entry point ?confidlg@vobsubfile@@QAE_N_NPAUWND__@@@Z could nto be found in the dynamic link lybrary vobsub.dll"
TMPEG doens't show up after the error for about 2 minutes.. its like:
Start up tmpeg, error..thinks for 2 mintus, then shows up.
I'm assuming vobsub has some problem with textsub with virtualdub, but I've tried uninstalling and resinstalling vobsub, and deleting tmpeg and virtualdub and re-extracting them. same problem. And tmpeg I don't see how it has any connection with vobsub. In the plugins section of envirnmental controls all the VFAPI plugins are listed, but not vobsub.dll
The programs still work fine.. even vobsub in virtualdub(acctually use it in avisytnh, but whatever), and tmpeg jsut takes a couple minuts to actually show up.

To me it sounds like you have an old version of vobsub.dll lying around on your harddrive that its trying to load for some unknown reason.. I guess you might do a search for vobsub.dll on all your harddrives and see if you have any lying around. btw what version are you trying with?

you'll probably find that in VirtualDubMod 1.5.10.2b2542, the message 'This application has failed to start because vobsub.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.' If you click OK a few times, the dialog disappears, and you should be able to continue as normal.
Well as far as I can remeber before, once I had installed the CCCP, the message disappeared (perhaps because VSFilter is installed?), but now I tried it and it didn't disappear...? dunno what's going on.
So I tried downloading vobsub.dll from the net and placed it in my virtualdubmod program folder, and instead, i got the message the person above got (about the procedure entry point).
I then deleted it, and then went inside the plugin folder and renamed the two files residing there to anything other than *.vdf (e.g. file.vdf.original).
The two files are plugins that are loaded on startup of VirtualDubMod, and they are textsub.vdf and vobsub_vd.vdf.
When I had renamed these two files, the message disappeared altogether.
It temporarily solves the problem until I figure out how I managed to fix it before, without having to rename these files...(??)!
