As anybody had this problem?I 've split a disc and it plays perfect in Ifoedit 'Dvd Play' but when I burn the disc and play it in standalone Dvd I can see it goes to the title but won't play it.I've tried changing First play and it does go to the title but again won't play it in standalone.I've never had this problem before...help appreciated

First play will point to a PGC_Menu, & that menu will point to another.
I hate to tell you this but somewhere in those Menus, it's pointing to a title that is not there! or a Pre command value link is by passing your (Jump_TT)
Have fun finding it.
good luck.
NOTE: If it plays with Windvd or Powerdvd it should play on a set top box!
OK, yes it must be burnt in UDF/ISO (2k) (2048) block size

Not true. PCs and standalones in essence use 2 different file systems. The converse is true, though: If it won't play on any PC application, it will not play on a standalone.
Supposedly the player in IfoEdit is more like standalones, but it is not (and can not be) identical.
As for the problem: not enough information to determine anything. What do you mean by "goes to the title but won't play it"? Does it start to play and then stop? Is there an on-screen error displayed? What does the front panel say?

Thanks for the responses.
When I put the newly burned disc in Dvd Player the front panel says
"Title 1- " and then Stops..I'm not a complete novice at this game and the burning settings are fine.I've done some other discs in between.I changed the Jump command to a different Title but like I said before it plays ok in Dvd Play and Power Dvd it just seems like there invisible to my Settop for some reason.
I next tried putting the whole thing thru Ifoedit again clicking on Strip Vobs create new Video and Vob 1 options.Same problem. It's really got me baffled this one and to be honest I've sort of given up unless someone can suggest something else.

Kenny,
I had the same problem and I found out that some ifo files are NOT writen on the dvd-r. Try to create an image of your disk and then burn it.
Hope this help you.
