anybody tell me the best way to encode audio from a captured video file into an ac3 file?
I am capturing using ati all in wonder radeon 8500 128mb card into 720x480 mpeg-2 48khz audio. I don't really know what the actual format is for the video file. Basically why I want to accomplish this is to fit the maximum amount of video onto dvd-r and the other question is how do I increase the volume of a captured a/v file. Some of my cable channels are extremely low volumed compared to the rest.
