Does any one has a fix for the error
"the decoder does not suppor close caption"
This happens right after the installation of Vob Instant
It changes the decoder to and older version of it
and Ifoedit crashes
I have Win XP on the system, IFOedit has been working great
until yesterday, I tried removing the app, but as always great lord
MicroSoft does keep the old decoder. I ended formating and installing back everything.
Any Idea how to fix it, VOB instant is great application

I can't really help you,but you have just helped me.
I have this problem for ages and could not figure out what progamme was causing the problem. If I format my drive again I'll leave Vob Instant off this time.
I use Nero 5.5.8.0 for testing my dvd's and use dvd decrypter to do the final one.

Exactly same happened to me when I upgraded from VOB 6.4 to registered version 6.5
When I uninstalled 6.4 I foolishly said yes to removing old ASPI.dll's which was a bad move. As with 6.5 you get ASAPI drivers and IFOedit DVD play stops working, although burned DVD's all still work ok. But it's apain not being able to check title sets and confirm works before burning.
Using forceaspi does not help.
I had to uninstall version VOB 6.5 and use system restore to get old ASPI drivers back (XP home) and all was well again.
Its a pity coz I liked VOB but I did only used it for discs that Primo gave errors with as VOB seemed to burn anything.
However I have now turned off checking within Primo so it doesn't give those error messages after the fixing up disc stage at start of burns.
Now no error messages in Primo all my discs work and I have given up on VOB despite having spent £30 on it as I like to see my rips work in Ifoedit.

I did tried to recover to a previous stage, but Nero 5.5.9.9 and Veritas RecordNox mAX (I had them before installed VOB) quit working, not seen the burner, or saying that the image was to big to fit on the disc and so on.
Well I will have to stay with out it.
Have you write a letter to VOB about the flow on the product???
