subrip problem

Well I was following doom9's guide (http://www.doom9.org/index.html?/subtitle_guide.htm) to make subrips. and I'm having problems.

Well i followed the guide. I pressed start. According to the guide, I should be seeing a font color selection. Well I'm not. I don't see any other window except main window and the subtitle file. Well it processed 100% of the vobs and I didn't see anything. I'm using Subrip 1.06.

what u see is the result of the selection of a vob file that doesn't contain any subs.

Before pressing 'start'
Did u select the vob files of the movie?
Did u select the language from the top left of the subrip window?
