I have a problem I hope someone has come across before and can help me with that just started out of the blue. I have not been having any problems in the past. After I have finised with all the steps and hit encode, the transcoding box pops up and nothing happens. I did do a brief search in the forums for this problem and did not find an answer.
Nothing has changed in the way I do it. Here is the list of the steps I take to encode in CCE-2.64
1) Load VOB's in DVD2AVI with the vfapi plugin installled.
2) Run vfapi converter on the .d2v file from DVD2AVI
3) Load the Vfapi.avi in CCE-2.64
4) Set my encoding prefrence with audio disabled usally MPEG2 One-Pass VBR for my first pass.
5) Save my settings and click on encode.
Transcoding box pops up and nothing happens. I check CPU usage and it is nothing which tells me CCE-2.64 is doing nothing. I do not believe it is a file problem since I have taken other AVI files I have done in the past with CCE-2.64 and the same problem pops up. I have noticed that the DDRAW OVERLAY CAPABLE is checked after selecting the VOB's, I did not remember this to be the case in the past AVI files I have encoded and I was not looking for it either.
Machine is a AMD 2.2xp 1 gig of ram and promise raid.
 :(
