I keep seeing that a lot of people are having a lot of problem with rempeg. The easiest and fastest way I have found to use it is to rip the movie only with ifo files to a directory.Use ifoedit to strip everything except the video and audio track you wish to use and let ifoedit make the new ifo files. After that is done I figure how much morer I need to strip to get it to fit on a dvd-r.If I only need to get rid of 500 mb I copy and paste any 2 of the vob files except for the firt one, because that is the one that usually causes the problem. The reson I'm using only 2 vob files is I only need to get rid of 500 mb so Im going to rempeg to 75% on these 2.After you copy and paste them along with the newly created ifo files rename to vob no.1 and 2. Open ifoedit and create rempeg cffl. After that is finished open rempeg and load the cffl.It will only rempeg the 2 vob files takeing much less time than the whole movie. After it is done usuall within an hour and a half use ifoedit to rebuild the vob files. After that rename them to whatever 2 vob files you copy and pasted, and move them back into the original directory.Open ifoedit and restrip and recreate ifo files in your VIDEO_TS and your finished. The whole thing takes less than an hour and 45 min. I have done this on many movies so far that have all played perfectly with excellent quality.Hope this helps someone.
