I used ifoedit to split a dual layer dvd to 2 dvdr. I followed every
guideline in doom9.org.

problems.
1. File "%s" is not referenced and should not be present. DVD-Video files reallocation failed. This error pops up with NERO when I use the DVD Video and drag the video files over to the VIDEO_TS

2. I used the DVD data to burn AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS. WHen I playback, it started with the VTS_01_1. I did copy the VIDEO_TS.VOB (opening credits) and VTS_01_0.VOB (menu). Basically it starts into the movie.

3. This DVD data/ISO does not play on standalone.

I am new to ifoedit. How can I get all the vobs to plays (almost like the original dvd)? What changes do I need to make to the ifo to make this happen?

thanks

I don't know if i'm tired today........but i'm having a tough time understanding waht you're talking about. Explain the probelm a bit more in depth (what you did, structure of dvd where movie files are located how many ifo files, etc.), how jumps occur and maybe ic an help you out.

You realize the 2 files you mention are menu files, not movie files? They usually don't "play".

I followed the guidelines here at doom9 to split a dual layer dvd to single layer. I used dvd decrypter to copy all ifo and vob files to the harddrive. I used ifoedit to read the vts_01_1.ifo file and select split. It drop files into dvd1 and dvd2 folder. I used NERO and selected DVD Video and drag all the files from dvd1 folder. The error came up about File Allocation failed. I even tried ISO and created VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS. That will burn to the dvd-rw. I tested it on my standalone dvd player. It will not played on my dvd player. I checked it with ifoedit to play. An error came up about incorrect dvd volume.

I would like to be able to play each set of vob and ifo on standalone. The split with ifoedit creates vts_01_1 files. I copied the VIDEO_TS.VOB (opening credit) and VTS_01_0.VOB (menu) to the dvd-r.

How can I do this? What am I doing wrong with NERO and ifoedit?
