IMDB issue with data supply, maybe they have changed their format

Hi, I have just noticed that the hook into IMDB seems to be missing some data lately. I have looked up movies that I have backed up before and I know were OK and they display the same issue.

The detail that seems to be missing each time is the Actors 'Roles' and more importantly the frount cover bmp.

I guessing that maybe the routine that extract the movie in info, is not in sync with a change in structore at the IMDB end ?

this is a known issue, use the search button before posting.

They moved the covers to the IMDBPro database, and therefore this is unlikely to be resolved. Use Amazon.com's database until a new solution is implemented.

Thx DBZ I assume from your suggestion that they have image in a similar format/size. I'll check it out.

Most everybody uses JPEGs/GIFs these days, so format really isn't an issue. Sizes might vary, I haven't looked into it, but it isn't much if at all. You can always resize them yourself in Photoshop, or your favorite gfx editing app...
