Is there anyway to tell dvd2svcd to not run bbmpeg and not remux the audio and video? I am making dvd-r's with it so i dont not need the remuxed mpg file.

thanks sparx

I do not believe so, but you can stop it manually.
You probably already knew that part though.

If you wanted to get rid of files after it's finished automatically, just create a batch file and have DVD2SVCD run it under the finalize tab, run this per cd. It will clean up the muxed files and such if didn't stop it before BBmpeg ran.

I haven't tried this so I don't know if it will work, but see what happens if you remove BBmpeg command line from the Bbmpeg tab.
I think it will either not let DVD2SVCD work because of a file check or error out when it hits the Bbmpeg stage, which is what I am hoping it will do.

i thought about removing the exe from the tab, but i have been batch encoding. I dont want it to error out and not continue on with the next encode.

well i tried your batch file idea. and i couldnt get it to work. I made sure the batch file would do what it was supposed to. but when i ran my batch file for dvd2svcd, it didnt delete the bbmpeg mux file. i my bat file works because when i double clicked it, it deleted the file it was supposed to. The problem i am having is, i am batch encoding 3 cds at one time. I set it up at night to run thru the night and while i am at work. Well with those extra bbmpeg files that i dont need for my dvdr's, i am running out of space in the middle of the last encoded. So i guess i am kinda stuck. Either i do two dvds at a time, or i get a bigger HDD. Unless DVD2SVCD swoops in here out of nowhere and makes it so you can disable bbmpeg :)

oh well, thanks for the idea
