I've ripped a DVD with DVD Decryptor into m2v and ac3, some months ago.

Now I want to create a SVCD from it, but DVD2SVCD expects VOBs.

Since I don't have the DVD anymore this is a big problem for me.

So, is there a way to use m2v and ac3 files with DVD2SVCD? Or can I remux these Files back to VOBs?

since you don't own the dvd it would kinda be illegal to "back it up"...so if you want to do so, i suggest you buy the dvd and rerip it :)

I don't know if you can remux the files, but I do know that DVDdecrypter and DVD2SVCD do not work together. So whatever you do don't use that ripper with VOB's you plan to use DVD2SVCD with.

I would suggest trying to make the SVCD manually by using one of the great guides at www.doom9.org

@hoozdapimp:

Yes, I don't own the DVD, but I own the video cassette. I'm not sure if this makes it fully legal. But at least it would make it less illegal :D

lol...less illegal, ill have to try that sometime :)

anyway i think it's possible to continue your project manually, like mark said. it wouldn't be so bad...just think of what we used to have to do before dvd2svcd was around :)
dvd2avi, cce, besweet, and bbmpeg should about do the trick..
