SVCD on DVDr using NERO

ok i got 12 Segments totaling 4gigs. I would love to use a DVDr and put them all onto one disc. Problem when i try to burn it it says instert a CDR/RW disc into the drive. and tells me that currently have a blank DVDr disc in the drive. I looked at the guide and all i could find was an I-autor SVCD guide. I also searched SVCDs and DVDrs and SVCDs with Nero and i did not find an answer.

I wonder if the Nero you're using is not a full version. If that, you can download "Nero Burning ROM 5.5.9.9 & SVCD_Plugin & Mp3Pro_Plugin" from the Free Download Area of http://www.jummpa.com

OMG! this someone up there hates me. i have nero 5.5.9.9 full version but i need the SVCD addon that lets me burn SVCDs onto DVDrs and that italian (i think its italian) sites link does not work and downloads.com does not have it. I have the worlds worst luck

Hello, go to " profile ", choose " user cp ", than " edit options " and " Enable Private Messaging? " choose yes. That´s that.;)

ok everyone I got the nero plugin and still nothing.... is there a setting or something? cause Nero still will not burn SVCD video onto a DVDr.
