I just format my hard drive. i installed dvd2svcd and force aspi. but for some reason i rip Monster Inc and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, it rip at a very slow speed. Monster inc took about 8 hrs and the speed start off ~ 100kb/s then this morning it's like -85 kb/sec. i reinstall dvd2svcd and force aspi and tried to rip Jay and ..... the speed start off at 85 kb/sec. just wonder how to make it faster. I saved the configuration of svcd before i format my hdd and load it after i format so i dont think it's my config. also before my hdd is Fat32 now it's NTFS does it make a different? should i use vStrip instead of Internal Routines? thanks, please help.

You should always play the movie in Windvd or Powerdvd before you start your ripp, that way the dvd has a chance to unlock itself. Also you can do a search as this topic as been talked about over and over again.

Just try a bunch of keywords until you find useful results. Somethinng like "slow dvd ripping" will likely work. You should always try searching at least a few times before creating a new topic, as 9 times out of 10, the answer has already been posted.
