I didn't do anything, but it disappeared automatically.All I did was Password Protect my Windows XP (user Accounts). Should I run the forceaspi. I don't get any ASPI Errors. The Drives don't just show up. I restarted a couple pf times.Same Problem.
Thanks In Advance! :)

Well, this has happened to me in Win2k, so I imagine the same rules could apply. Here's what I found on a technote:
To make the CD ROM's reappear you will need to edit your registry.
Before doing this I highly recommend that you make a back up of your
Registry. This is very important in the event you delete the wrong key. Hold on tight, here we go.
After running Regedit you will want to find the following Registry Keys and delete the following entries:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\Class\{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}
(Delete only the keys below)
UpperFilters
LowerFilters
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet002\Control\Class\{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}
(Delete only the keys below)
UpperFilters
LowerFilters
(You must reboot for changes to take effect)

Start, Run "regedit.exe"
Be careful, and make sure you backup the registry before making any changes.

If there is only the lower filters, delete them and reboot. See if you drives come back. As I recall on mine, I only had lowers too.
You can also apply www.aumha.org/downloads/cdgone.zip
It gives you the regedit commands in a .reg file (you just click on the .reg file and it executes).

So the drives are now being seen in the My Computer and File Manager, but not by DVDit and RecordNow? If so, I don't know what to tell you. Sorry.
