Sorry to come back to this but this is really "bugging" me

I am just not been able to create a complete image when I have "holes" in the VTS seq.
eg with Monster Inc the main movie is in VTS 13.
So if I have to put all the original VTS in between the DVD is way to big again.

Then I tried to add dummy VTS and ifo files but than the img goes upto VTS 9 and completes.

I can always go for the Movie only method but I really would like to keep some of the extras and the menu.

did you solve this problem? I am having it also. I can correct it by changing the vts number but then i get navigation errors when testing it.

If you do not make an image and can make successful burns then this will work but i started making coasters that way.

If you figure it out let me know i would really be thankful.

If you use ImgTools version 0.89, the library which creates the image will ever try to make a standard conform DVD. With version 0.99 ImgTool uses the NeroAPI and I hope it will also produce standard conform DVDs. At this time I really don't know this for 0.99 since nobody tells me that he has created a DVD with this version...

The cleanest way is to reauthor the parts of the movie you really need. But I know this is (to) much work...

I think you will ever get problems if you strip some vts away if you still have pointers to this vts somewhere in your menus...

Greets, CouJo!

I had this problem and fixed it. See my message thread about "folder2 image file using ImgTools" or something like that. The answer is there.

What i found out through experimentation is that you only need the .ifo and the .bup of the vts's that are the holes. Although you will need the vobs for the extras you want to keep. This has worked on a couple of different discs for me, but i still have problem with reading disc size in comparison to total image size.
