CP-88 Thermal CD Printer

Does anyone know anything about this CD/DVD printer? Is it OK? At least it's very cheap...

Does look cheap, but it looks like there are issues. It appears to print in color, but maybe not at the same time? It says it support black, silver, blue and red ribbons. But I'll bet you can't have them all installed at the same time. So you choose which color you want to use, and it labels everything in that color.

For basic labelling, it looks decent. I found a site for the ribbons at $9.00. Of course there's no info on how long the ribbon will last.

Damn i would have purchased that printer if it didn't have such a small printable area.

That fact that it's onl;y one colour doesn't bother me, just that you can't actually print to the whole disc :(
