I was in a hurry to get one of my DVD's ripped. DVD Decrypter was having trouble recognizing the drive (I fixed that) so I used SmartRipper to rip the second half of the chapters. I didn't check the file before I returned the DVD to the shelf. When I did check it I found I had 1 3.4GB VOB. It's a long walk to get the DVD back off the shelf ;) so, I'm pretty much stuck with this VOB. It is a valid VOB, IFoEdit had no problem writing ifo's for it. Although, I'm not sure why IfoEdit has a maximum VOB size check box since it ignored the fact that this VOB was 2.4 GB over the max. Anyway, Nero can't burn it as a Video DVD. It recommended that I burn it as a UDF format Disc. This won't play. Neither will an ISO disc burned with ImageTools. What are the parameters for a UDF disc that will play? Or, is there an easy (relatively) way to split this VOB into 4 >1GB VOB's?
