DV to DVD....newbie ...What is the steps ?

Hello,

I'm a newbie on how to make my own DVD movie from DV camcorder.

I already downloaded some softs but I ran into issues.

I used MGI Videowave to do the DV capturing.

After I saved the file as an MPG2 format, 720x480,29.97fs Audio=44.1khz,16bits,Stereo

Next, I took this mpg file and used dvd2AVI.
The demuxed audio track is a MPA format which is not reabable by Maestro??????????!!!.

I can use CCE to create the .m2v which is working fine with Maestro.

Any advice will be appreciated.

Did you save the MPEG-2 file from MGI Videowave?

If yes, you better create a DV AVI there, then use CCE to convert the video (leads to much better quality).

I'd convert the audio using tooLame. Don't know if Maestro needs 48kHz, if yes, you can use SSRC to change the sampling rate.
