Since I've changed my mb with a GigaByte 7dxr (it was an abit but gave me too many problems with acpi and I changed it),
I've poor performances with cdrom/dvd scsi.
Let me explain:
I've an 9gb ibm hd scsi lvd 80 no problem with bus,
on the same controller (adaptech 29160N) I have
a Pioneer dvd 305, plextor 40x reader, and 8/20 cd-r
Then my speeds are:
For data session (with nero cd speed):
10x for two plextors
14x for dvd pioneer
when ripping a dvd 1.5x
Before mb change I was ripping at 8x
I've tried my scsi controller and my plex on another pc and does 37x data with nero speed.
Mb bios is the latest and 29160n bios is 3.10
Anyone experiencing same problem and maybe have a solution?
Thx in advance
