I'm using subrip to ocr subs from vobs into srt files. It will load up the vob file, get a little bit into them (perhaps 3 or 4 subs completed), then error telling me that it's unable to open the VOB file (obviously it was *already* opened), and perhaps the VOB is encrypted (obviously it is not). Has anyone seen this issue before? Where is the proper place to kick subrip in order to make the bitch work correctly?

@xercist,

Try load the .vob from the .ifo file.

Doesn't work....not only that, but if I use a different utility to extract the subs out of the vob into .idx and .sub files, and load those up with subrip, it will do the same thing and complain about my .sub file :/

I get this error when little system resources/RAM/virtual memory are available. On other side, try SubResync how will handle this subtitle.

just a little of topic here and mainly out of curiosity. Is there any special reason that u OCR the subs and dont bmp them? Do u want to change the typeface used?
