I'm sure someone here could answer your question, if we understood it! What is "DVD Release rules for the DVDR scene". I'm not familiar with that phrase/issue/subject/etc.
Can you describe it a little more clearly?

why soytenly:)
What i'm talking about is this... In the DivX scene, there are certain rules that you need to follow for an "official" release.
Encoded a certain way, packed a certain way, nfo done a certain way.
Basically, i'm checking to see if there is also an equivalent for DVD-r...
You know, ripped and having the Region removed or left in tact. Whether or not PGC should be left in tact. That type of thing.:)
Sorry if I'm being vague, here... This is the best I know how to explain it...
Thanks again for your time.

goto isonews (http://www.isonews.com) to find out what he is talking about.
for example if a dvd is over a certain length it is okay to rip to 2 CD's etc.
i dont think this is the place to discuss the release of dvd-r films by groups in "the scene".

Right. Please stay away from any "scenez" posts here.
It's not the place for that here.
