The movie you downloaded in fact has two audio streams, but to play these seperately in an AVI you need the Morgan Stream Switcher filter (can be found in the download section, or in Nimo's pack).
After you have installed it you can choose which language you want to hear by right-clicking in WMP and looking at the language menu.
Be aware that the Morgan Stream Switcher filter can cause a lot of problems with other filters, but AFAIK it's the only way to seperate two audio streams in an avi.

@A*
vdub/ndub shows that it has only one audio stream, extracted it and its only one.

I know. It's supposed to do that, because it can't detect the second stream until you install that filter.
Either that or the audio is indeed a mix of english and russian, but then the person who made it must have noticed, don't you think?

I had a film once which had the same problem.
There was one audio stream. The left channel was english and the right was Dutch i think. I had to move my sound balance to the left to get english. No doubt moving to the right produced Dutch.
Try that and give us some feedback.

Zoom Player will automaticly switch your Audio Streams. The Morgan Stream switcher caused alot of problem with my system so I decided to let the player handle the audio switching.

You don't need the Morgan stream switcher with BSPlayer either.

Regarding left and right channel, if i change the balance i still hear both eng and russ vocals,

GraphEdit can prove or disprove the number of streams, very quickly, and show you...er...graphically.
(GraphEdit is downloadable from Doom9. Use the File menu, and select "Render media file.")
If you have two audio tracks, you'll see them come out of the box labled "Avi Splitter."

You will be able to separate the english from the non-english vocals if they are on different stereo channels. In this case you need to drop the channel with the wrong vocals.
There are also analogue circuits available which can e.g. suppress the vocals in music. The method assumes the vocals are centered and about the same volume in both channels, whereas the instruments aren't. Using a 180 degrees phase shift the vocals vanish, but everything that's more on the left or more on the right channel remains. Maybe this could help you.
Hopefully someone from the audio forum can help out better than me.

Mediaplayer (at least the one from XP) without Morgan Stream switcher does play both audio tracks at once, I also experienced this at a friends computer recently. BSPlayer worked without any problems, so I didn't install Morgan Stream switcher.
