View Full Version : Nero tells me that VTS_02_0.VOB isn't referenced and won't let me burn the disk.

I have been using IFOEDIT 1.932 and created a disk where I have kept the original menus, but stripped/ripped a lot of other stuff out.

The main movie is VTS_02_*.VOB and it plays perfectly using PowerDVD.

However, when I try and burn it with Nero 5.5.9.9, I am told that VTS_02_0.VOB is not referenced and its not needed.

However, when i remove the file and try and play the disk (using PowerDVD), it won't work as there is no menu file for VTS_02 (VTS_2_0.VOB).

When I put the file back, it plays perfectly but I am not allowed to burn it.

The file must be referenced as without it, I can't get the disk to work, but why does Nero think that its not.

The process I used was simple enough.. I used IFOEDIT and worked on VTS_02_0.IFO. I stripped out some VOBs into E:\VIDEO_TS,. Once this was finished, I had the new VOB files (VTS_02_1,2 and 3) and the relevant IFO files.

Then I copied the other IFOs and VOBs that were needed from the original.

That should work, but for some reason, Nero thinks that the menu VOB (VTS_02_0.VOB) is not needed.
