Hi folks,
well, I'm at the stage in the DVD-9 to DVD-5 guide where I'm trying to import my "output.mpv" video file into DVDMaestro. (Not a .m2v file, as there's no need for pulldown with a PAL title). Anyhow, both the audio and video files import fine, but when I try to drag the video over to the timeline, I get "Video Asset length greater than maximum allowed!" The file I'm trying to do this with is 2 hours, 2 minutes and 37 seconds long! What gives? Anyone know of a fix? Please let me know,

PnaG.

What version of Maestro are you using? One of the 'cracked' releases gives this error frequently.

Well, um, it is 2.51. And it *may* be cracked. Just for evaluation, you understand...

If you had simply pasted your own thread title into the Doom9 search function, like so:

http://forum.doom9.org/search.php?s=

Video Asset length greater than maximum allowed

...you would have got results which would have answered your question:

http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?threadid=30971&highlight=Video+Asset+length+greater+than+maximum+allowed

http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?threadid=18767&highlight=Video+Asset+length+greater+than+maximum+allowed

It sounds to me as though you are indeed using the SMB release.
